LiveStats log analysis
is provided as an integral part
of Symbolic Media's managed host
services. Our Statistics Server
reporting reveals in-depth, qualitative
information about all activity on
the client's web site and is far
more informative than reports produced
by a common "hit list"
analysis. LiveStats reports uncover
vital source information,
site traffic patterns
and data trends
-- the type of information
that is essential when implementing
an effective web marketing strategy.
Through a series of easy to read
charts and detailed tables, our
customers can identify and track
statistics such as: where
site visitors come from; how
they arrive at the site; preferences
and interest levels in different
products; and much more.
Web traffic data from each customer's
site is compiled into a powerful,
real-time statistics database that
can be reviewed moment by moment
or over a period of time for up
to one year. Symbolic Media also
works closely with customers who
want more advanced reports that
are targeted to specific market
goals. We develop individualized
market profiles (called "Watches")
to analyze and track the impact
that various promotion and marketing
strategies have on the profiled
web site. By combining profile designs
with carefully positioned gateway
pages on the site we can even track
responses to print and media advertising.
For more information about use of
the Statistics Server and targeted
market profiling on the web, link
to the articles listed below from
our Documentation Project.
More information on these important
topics is forthcoming. Additional
articles will be listed on this
page as soon as they are completed
and are published in our database.
